
Schönbrunn castle
Its name means "Magnificent Spring", it was the summer residence of the Royal family.
Leopold 1st had this castle built by architect Johann Bernard Fischer von Erlach in order to compete with the Palace of Versailles. In addition to the castle, visitors enjoy the French gardens, the fountains and the Gloriette perched on the hill from which there is a good view over Vienna.
Hofburg Palace
The imperial palace where the Habsburgs lived for 6 centuries. A symbol of Vienna. Continuously enlarged and embellished by the emperors who succeeded each others. The palace houses the offices of the Austrian President and several museums.


Hundertwasser
This colorful block with its irregular shapes and overgrown vegetation is a fine example of modern and original architecture in Vienna.
Belvédère Palace
Formerly the home of important figures in Austrian history such as Eugène de Savoie-Carignan and François Ferdinand, the belvedere is seen by some as one of the most beautiful baroque castles in the world.
It has a museum where many works by Gustave Klimt are kept, including the famous kiss, other famous artists like Oskar Kokoschka are also on display.

Karlskirche, the Saint Charles Borromeo church

The Gothic monument of Vienna, a church was there since the 12th century and from 1359 it was renovated into a Gothic cathedral.
The most notable part of the church is its painted tile roof and the Gothic stone pulpit in the main nave which was built in 1515 by an unknown craftsman.


The Capuchin Crypt
The crypt in which were buried the members of the Habsburgs family, which used to rule Austria. The crypt contains very finely decorated monumental coffins.
Le Kunsthistorishes Museum
One of the first museums of ancient art in the world, it holds in its collection major works of Western art. Masterpieces by Raphael, Rubens, Rembrandt, Dürer, Brughel Titian and Tintoretto.
